Our mission is to offer opportunities for encouragement through educational, networking, and social activities for people with both vision and hearing impairments and their families.

Volunteer opportunities
You can volunteer to help at SASISTL meetings and events. While at the meetings, our volunteers can help those who are hard of hearing to understand what is being said. Those who use sign language can be supported by volunteers who know sign language and can interpret for them. Volunteers can also guide someone to a chair or help describe visual information that is helpful.
