LINC is a Center for Independent Living (CIL), a private, not-for-profit community-based organization that provides programs and services for people with disabilities that allow them to live as independently as possible within their communities.

Information & Referral
Information and referral brings people and resources together. You can inquire about disability-related topics such as housing, transportation, medical equipment, governmental assistance, and Social Security benefit information. If the request meets the service we offer, you will be assigned to an advocate and a case will be opened. If not, our agency representative will refer you to resources in your community.
Independent Living Skills Training
LINC provides information with instruction that leads to mastery in health, safety, transportation, community resources, meal planning, household management, recreation, leisure, and money management. The integration and full participation of individuals with disabilities into the mainstream of society, and the reduction of institutionalization, is the desired outcome.
Peer Counseling Support
The primary goal of LINC’s Peer Counseling Support service is to provide a supportive community where consumers can share their experiences, challenges, and triumphs with others who have similar disabilities. This service aims to foster emotional well-being, personal growth, and empowerment by connecting with peers who can offer guidance and support.
Reintegration Services
LINC provides services that facilitate transition from nursing facilities and other institutions to the community. We provide assistance to those at risk of entering institutions and facilitate transition of youth to postsecondary life.
Youth IEP Advocacy & Transition Readiness
The primary goal of LINC’s Youth IEP Advocacy and IEP Program is to advocate for the educational rights of students with disabilities and to facilitate the development and implementation of effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
