Missouri School For The Blind
The Outreach Department of Missouri School for the Blind has developed a statewide program of comprehensive services for students with visual impairments and for those who are deafblind.
About the outreach program
Several agencies collaborate with Outreach, including the DeafBlind Advisory Council, Blind Task Force, Rehabilitation Services for the Blind, MPACT, DGCKids, First Steps, Regional and State Interagency Councils, the National Center for Deafblindness, St. Louis Society for the Blind, Lighthouse for the Blind, Missouri Assistive Technology, Parents as Teachers, Missouri School for the Deaf, and Missouri Schools for the Severely Disabled.

Missouri DeafBlind Technical Assistance Project
The purpose of the Missouri DeafBlind Technical Assistance Project is to develop partnerships, coordinate service networking, and provide systematic training. Technical assistance, training, and resources are available for individuals with vision and hearing loss, birth through 22 years of age, their families, and service providers.
Library Media Center
The MSB Library Media Center provides materials and services for students and staff at Missouri School for the Blind, with more than 20,000 braille, recorded, large print, and regular print books and magazines, as well as many music CDs, eBook readers, iPads, magnifiers, and more available for loan.
Instructional Resource Center
The Missouri Instructional Resource Center for the Visually Impaired coordinates the registration of students who are legally blind and administers the Federal Quota Funds to purchase braille and large print texts and specialized educational materials.
MoSPIN
The Missouri Statewide Parent Involvement Network provides a free home-based program for families of children birth through five years of age who are visually impaired, including those with multiple disabilities and combined vision and hearing challenges.
DeafBlind Project
The Missouri DeafBlind Project strives to improve services and results for youth who are deafblind and their families by strengthening collaborations among local, state, and national teams.
