DEAF, Inc. is dedicated to creating a positive impact through its four core areas of focus: Access Services, Education, Community Programs, and Outreach.
Our Services
Access Services
Under the Access Services umbrella, DEAF, Inc. provides vital 24/7 ASL interpreting services, available year-round. We are also proud to offer Visdio, a comprehensive ASL and English translation and captioning service, as well as video production services. DEAF, Inc. is honored to be recognized as a MO-TAP (Missouri's Telecommunication Access Program) Demonstration Site, providing individuals with hearing loss a valuable platform to explore and test a range of assistive telecommunication devices.
Community Programs
Our Community Programs encompass two essential services: Advocacy and Specialized Programs. Advocacy includes consultation, information and referrals, and direct support services. Our Specialized Programs, Pink Wings of Hope and Youth & Family, are tailored to meet specific needs by fostering support, education, and a sense of community among participants.
Education
Furthermore, DEAF, Inc. offers community training programs related to deafness and American Sign Language (ASL) classes, which are open to the public. Additionally, we provide private training sessions and group lessons for businesses, organizations, and other nonprofits seeking to enhance communication and inclusivity.
